Fire Cupping is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine where heat is added to a glass cup causing a vacuum effect when applied to the skin. This process can help release the muscle tissue and fascia that may be causing pain in common areas such as lower back, shoulders, and others.
Gua sha (pronounced gwah-shaw) massage is a practice derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine and involves rolling or scraping a smooth massage tool across the skin. This may offer health benefits by reducing inflammation and is sometimes used to help chronic pain.
Tui Na (also called Tui-Na or Tuina massage) is a form of bodywork based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Working along meridians (energy channels) throughout the body, using stretches, pressure points, and joint rotations, balance is created in the body’s vital energy (qi).

My name is Kelsie Clyke and I am a Registered Acupuncturist located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I practice out of my own private clinic (Clyke Acupuncture). I do my best to connect to an individual on their level, young or old, in order for them to understand the medicine I give them, how or why their body or mind may be displaying imbalance or disharmony, and what they can do about it.
“I suffered a bad concussion, neck and back injury, as a result, I ended up with severe headaches anxiety and some depression, after 8 months of physio and several medications with horrible side effects and no results from physio. I was introduced to Kelsie and after meeting with him for the first time I was so impressed with his professionalism and genuine concern for my wellbeing, I started treatment immediately. After a few sessions I was already feeling some relief from the anxiety, I am now able to function normally and relief is continuing to increase. I can’t say enough about Kelsie except he is just a genuine and nice person. I will continue to have treatments even when I
am fully recovered. I recommend his clinic to all my friends.”
